With the new facilities at Rygjatun, ToppVolley Norge is now complete. I wish I were 16 again!

Kåre Mol – Special Consultant for Elite Sport at the Norwegian Volleyball Federation (NVBF), former national team coach, coach of the Beachvolley Vikings, and widely regarded as the father of ToppVolley Norge.

At Rygjatun, there are friends everywhere, and there is always someone to spend time with if you want to. At the same time, it is nice to be able to retreat to your own room when you need it – especially now that we have such great rooms with private bathrooms.

Nora Halgunset – student at ToppVolley Norge

Rygjatun carries forward a hundred-year tradition from the folk high school as a place for growth, development, and lifelong learning. Today, outstanding young people from across Norway gather here to gain knowledge and develop their skills. Rygjatun, together with ToppVolley Norge, is of great value to Suldal and to the entire volleyball community in Norway.

Torkel Myklebust – Chair of the Board, Rygjatun Eigedom AS (2019–2025)

It’s great living at Rygjatun when everyone here is so kind – and the residence is so nice.

Agala Bisimwa – student at ToppVolley Norge

A strong school and a top-level sports programme can not function without a safe and supportive place to live. At Rygjatun, ToppVolley students learn to take responsibility for themselves while also contributing to the community. This builds strong bonds and valuable experience for adult life.

When we held a weekend session for the Norwegian Volleyball Federation’s Coach Level 3 education programme, Rygjatun was an important part of the setup, offering excellent accommodation, tailored meals, and great facilities for both theory sessions and social gatherings.
