Rygjatun is a student residence and a meeting place where community, safety and everyday life are at the center. For more than a hundred years, the place on Eide in Sand has been a beloved gathering place where people meet, learn, develop and community have been strong. For the past twenty years, Rygjatun has been the home of young people who combine school and top-level sports at ToppVolley Norge. Our formal name is Ryjgatun Eigedom AS and is owned by Suldal Municipality. It is safe to know that we have a municipality that is committed to the future. In 2025, a state-of-the-art boarding school building was completed on our site, which gives the feeling of wind in the sails for young people whose everyday lives are far from home. With expanded capacity, it is also possible for external guests to come to us at Sand all year round.
