Rygjatun is a boarding school and a meeting place where community, safety and everyday life are at the centre. With over a hundred years of tradition of meeting people and gatherings, Rygjatun is today a home for young people who combine sculle and top sports in cooperation with ToppVolley Norway. We emphasize quality, healthy and good food rhythm and a safe, drug-free environment where everyone can take care of others and the community. Rygjatun is close to nature and offers room for calm and perspective in a day of high ambitions. At the same time, we are an open city for collection and development. With good facilities and great capacity, we also welcome external guests to camps, courses, training sessions and other community-based events. I believe that good encounters between people create value When people cheer on others and feel safe, both performance and personal development have room to grow, on the volleyball court and in life. Good communities build people for the future.
Vårt formelle namn er Ryjgatun Eigedom AS og er heileigd av Suldal kommune. Det er trygt å kjenna at me har ein kommune som satsar på framtida. I 2025 stod eit toppmoderne internatbygg ferdig på tomta vår, noko som gir kjensla av vind i seglet for unge menneske som har kvardagen sin langt heimefrå. Med utvida kapasitet er det også mogleg for eksterne gjester å komma til oss på Sand heile året.
